Default Wisconsin Storage

Hello

I'll be putting my car away eventually and have a question. I will be storing it in my unheated garage. Is putting a moisture barrier underneath it enough to keep the condensation from forming under the vehicle?

I was planning on just a moisture barrier and the car cover with my battery tender, starting it monthly just to keep things active.

The underside of my car is like brand new and I want to keep it that way.

Did you ever get any feedback? Have you ever used a car cover outdoors without any barrier? I'm thinking about it this year. I either need a new interior grade cover and leave it in the garage or heavy duty exterior grade cover. Then I can bring my truck into the garage during the winter and not have to scrape.

Or just get a bigger garage lol. That's the best option.......

Seriously though, I wouldn't let that beauty of a car of yours sit outside, no matter what grade cover is used. Critters always seem to find a way into everything to cause trouble.

They do get into stuff. I've cleaned out the truck's heater fan twice now because mice made it home. The thing is they can get into the garage too. (Found them in my work bench and inside my bench saw.) Though I've never found them in my car.

And yeah. I've looked into building a second, stand-alone, garage. Probably isn't going to happen anytime soon.

I would just run the cover. Heavy duty covercraft and you're golden.

I'm thinking I'll try it. I'll check on it and if I'm not happy it's protected, I'll bring it in then.

Thanks for the input guys.
