Is extended warranty required?
I recently ordered a 2015 Mustang 2.3L Premium. I also added Navigation, Reverse Sensors and the 201A Package (Blind Spot Info System with Cross Traffic, Memory Seat and Mirrors, Shaker Audio system with 12 speakers).
The regular warranty is 3 year B2B and 5 years powertrain. I was offered Extended warranty that would cover B2B for 5 years for $1200 Canadian. I have some time to think, I will finalize the sale once the car is delivered.
Given that it is a redesigned Mustang, and that fact that it is loaded with so much technology I was thinking of getting it. But what do you folks think? Is the $1200 extra warranted?
