Where is the best place to learn how to drive stick online? Any specific videos or websites.

honestly dude, the best place to learn is in an empty parking lot and some time, as informational as any video or how - to guide is, it's not the real thing and every car is slightly different than the next, however a simply Google search will give you the basics on driving a stick, it's really not that hard and a great skill to have

^+1^

And some cars are wildly different and can take a bit of finesse. Especially the older ones.

Many moons ago I made the mistake of trying to teach my wife how to drive a stick on a 65 Mustang 6cyl. with a clapped out Dagenham 4 speed with a grabby clutch. In hind sight that was not a good idea.

She was having a rough time of it but getting better then she stalled it out again in the middle of a fairly busy intersection. She got out of the car right there in front of God and everybody and demanded that I take over.

That put the kabosh on her ever even trying to learn how to drive a stick shift again.

It's pretty easy. (1) Hold throttle until desired engine speed is reached, (2) remove left foot from clutch pedal and (3) hold on for dear life. Do this for each gear.

Seriously though I'm sure there's a Youtube video lol.

1. Rev the hell out of it until the engine is bouncing off the rev limiter

2. Dump the clutch

3. Cackle like an idiot at the copious amounts of smoke and noise

4. Explain to the nice officer that you are just learning how to drive a stick and that it got away from you.
