Default A/C not cycling

Hey guys I need a little advice I Replaced my a/c compressor on my 93 lx 5.0 and did everything right. I did not replace the accumulator (because I'm selling the car and it seem to be in good condition) everything works fine no leaks the a/c is cold right around 38-40 degrees depending on the temperature. What I did notice is that the comprossor is not cycling on and off it is steady going would this be this switch on the accumulator or another switch like a relay? Thanks any advice would be helpful.

Sorry I'm not familiar with AC stuff. Have you tried Googling this problem ? I'm sure this has happened to someone before. Good luck.

Well I found out that it's normal at idle for the compressor to stay on and not cycle. When your driving it builds up pressure and that's when the LPS (low pressure switch) kicks on and shuts the compressor off for a few seconds. I believe it builds up pressure to 24-26psi. So at idle the compressor will stay on constantly. I hope this helps someone else BTW I found this out by my good friends at FoxResto.com
