I have a 64.5 and would like to install a new full 65 chassis wiring harness. Before everyone gets upset. Yes I know how awesome a 64.5 is. I am a traditionalist and am not crazy about it. However it's been wrecked and not an entirely authentic 64.5. And my desire is to have a safer car to enjoy that can be passed down for years to come. I have been informed that I can install a "painless" brand harness that is very close to "plug & play". But I would need to get a 1 wire alternator, new turn signal switch and horn assembly to go from 64.5 to 65. My question is what other problems will I encounter as far as connections and comparability that are looming. Has anyone done this? Suggestions? Any advice is greatly appreciated!!
