This doesnt make sense to me
Just had a new exedy clutch put in my 06 gt 2 weeks ago, the day I pick it up from the shop the check engine light comes on so I run the code and its an O2 sensor so i buy that (havent replaced it yet) but every now and then the car acts really weird and doesnt want to go. I could push the peddle all the way down and all it does is sputter and wont really go at all. then seconds or a minute later its back to normal. can an o2 sensor cause the car to run so badly?? I didnt think so but its worrying me now cause i just bought the car, only had it for a month now..
and if it helps , the car is tuned, cammed, cat converters taken off

Welcome to the forum.
Yes, an O2 sensor is an important factor on how your car runs. But not to the point of sputtering, making it undrivable. Good advice above ^^^, and swap out the old O2 sensor for the new one, reset codes and see if it helps. You never know......
