04 Mustang Brake Issue
My son has an 04 Mustang and we are having brake issues. A month ago he replaced the brake pads, after that the front driver side is sticking. To the point where the wheel will not turn. We've tried everything I can think of and read about. If the caliper is off the wheel spins. Put the caliper on and it spins. Press the brake pedal, it won't spin. Release the brake pedal and it still won't spin.
We have replaced the caliper, brake pads, brake line, bled the brakes. Any other ideas?

Did you check the pins that the pads slide on for wear, replace those if they are worn.
Have someone closely watch the caliper piston when applying the brakes, then release the brakes and watch to see if there's any movement in the pads. If still stuck, give the caliper a couple light snacks and see if pads release then. That will prove the problem is in the caliper itself or pads are sticking on worn pins are worn caliper slots.

Something easy to check...
When you replaced the hoses, they didn't wind up with a twist/curl in it did it?
I did that one time after replacing the front pads on my Mark VIII. I wouldn't have thought it, but while trying to figure out why my caliper wasn't releasing, a friend pointed out the twist and told me that was the problem. I didn't really believe him but to shut him up I went ahead and uncoiled the hose and I'll be damned...that was the problem.
