Was it the right call?
Hello All, My boss recently purchased a 2010 Roush Stage 3 with 5K miles on it. He had it for about a month or so, when he ran across a 2013 Shelby GT 500, with track mods, and only 3K miles on it.
I talked him into trading in the Roush and picking up the Shelby. It appeared that all was well however, right at the end, when the deal was done, I think my boss may have got "cold feet" and felt like he may have made the wrong call.
In hind sight, it was kind of selfish on my part to pressure him to trade a perfectly good Roush, because I would have preferred to have a Shelby GT 500.
Anyway, aside from the moral dilemma, do you think it was a good deal to give up a Roush Stage 3 for a Shelby GT 500?

In the end, the Shelby will always have more credibility than the Roush and probably better trade in value. If he wanted the Shelby more than the Roush, then he made the right decision. Most dealers I've been to can't give away a Roush, just way too over priced.

I assume that he's a grown *** man and if he can't stand on his own hind legs and make a decision between a Roush and a Shelby (not really a bad choice there, is there?) then that's his baby to rock.
I'm not seeing the dilemma, moral or otherwise.

Well, I appreciate (some of) the feedback, it looks like my boss is going to make a few modifications to “fix” what he did not like about the Shelby. Specifically, he says he has found an aftermarket Roush exhaust system to improve the way it sounds. Apparently he will also be replacing the supercharger with a new Kenny Bell supercharger, and adding the Shelby widebody kit with some fatter tires for better traction. Should be pretty dam close to a Supersnake by the time he gets done. I think it’s damn near perfect the way it sits now, but we will see if he can get it to give my brothers 2015 Z06, or another coworkers 2016 Z07 some competition.

Not at all, I actually find your posts extremely hilarious. Just FYI though, you may want to try a different posting style because the way you post now makes your small dick syndrome more apparent.
