Lowering Springs

Lowering Springs
I bought my first mustang a few months ago. 2016 GT convertible. I want to lower it about an inch for looks. How bad will the ride be affected if I just replace the springs? I don't race and this is my daily driver. I wouldn't mind the ride being a little stiffer but don't want the car to handle improperly. I have 265/35/20 Pirelli p zero if that makes a difference.
Thanks

I AM A STEEDA BELIEVER
The car is a totally different handling car. Took the wife for a ride today and she said it is smoother than before. Much less bouncy. That is good news to me. Cause if the wife is happy I am happy. But I will say that these mods have really changed my confidence in the car. I had one little 30mile spirited section with S curves on my way home that normally when they say 45mph.. you can take them at 55mph... I took them at 70mph and the car was just planted solid. No roll, no rebound and no breaking loose on the rear when I accelerated from the apex. It just transitioned smoothly and predictably.

STEEDA PROGRESSIVE SPRINGS
I just installed the Steeda Progressive springs a few weeks ago and love them. The car rides so much better and even handles better. Improvement all the way around. Once you go Steeda you never go back!

I did likewise w/my former '14 GT Track Pack- only swapped out OEM springs for Steeda Sport springs, primarily for appearance's sake. Those springs did not negatively affect ride quality/harshness 5% and dropped the car a full inch or so all around. The car cornered flatter and looked so much better- gone were those nasty wheel well gaps- mission accomplished and no regrets.
Highly recommend Steeda Sport springs.
