Default 1967 Mustang Fastback, good deal?

Hi, I found this 1967 Mustang Fastback and I don't really know the value of them with an unoriginal engine/transmission. He says clutch is good and engine has a small oil leak, all 4 drum brakes work good and tires are good, wheels are like new. There is one dent but no rust and the interior is fair. The original posting is below. He only wants trades and seems very interested in my '78 Corvette I value at $10,000. Any thoughts on this deal? I'm not sure what its worth with an '86 351w and T5 in it. Thanks!1967 Mustang Fastback, good deal?-photo653.jpg 1967 Mustang Fastback, good deal?-photo552.jpg1967 Mustang Fastback, good deal?-photo898.jpg1967 Mustang Fastback, good deal?-photo444.jpg1967 Mustang Fastback, good deal?-photo162.jpg1967 Mustang Fastback, good deal?-photo457.jpg1967 Mustang Fastback, good deal?-photo738.jpg

Hard to give a value off a couple pics and the owners description. My gut feeling is that's a $5-6k car tops in my area. But again, it's still a project, I can't tell how solid it really is, and the non original motor doesn't matter to me personally. Car looks cool and would be fun to drive. That's the bottom line.....to me lol.

Edit:. If you do grab this, baby that T5. Behind a 351 they can last, but treat that shifter like it's made of glass.

I got updated/more pics of the car and there is not a spot of rust on it, i'm going to see if he's willing to throw in some money because i'd love to have/restore this car haha

I wouldn't give $10,000 for it. He would have to pay you at least 3-4 thousand to make up the difference.

Interesting that he is only interested in trades. My son has been burned several times with trades.
