Default leakdown results??are in

Problem Definatly sounds like bad valve guides, I've seen a 98 cobra with 40,000 that had about a 1/4 inch movement on the valves sideways. I had simialar problem with my 302 the heads were done just 2 years before, thought was rings went bad but it was the valve guides, theywere shot, not sure how it had any compression but it had 180 pounds cranking pressure. Smoked like a b$tch under severe abuseand usedoil alot with no sign of it on plugs just as you are sayin. Fordeven had a bulletin released on valetrain noisein different cobras, it explained that some of the noise could be from loose chains and or worn valve guides. hope this helps</P>
