When Crystal and I were looking at cars, we noticed there was little difference in price and mileage between the two but the Foxbodies needed quite a bit of work, at least the ones we found. You have to decide what you want to do with the car. Crystal needed wheels to get to school and work at this point of her life. We decided we wanted all the newest safety features such as the airbags, ABS brakes, power doors and locks, CD player, etc. Why not get more for the money? Later, when she became a more experienced driver and is more knowledgeable about cars and MATURE get a GT or whatever.

I personally like the SN95s. What a surprise since I own one. I like the styling a little better although I have seen some sick Fox bodies. It is all a matter of personal opinion. THe 5.0 has a bigger aftermarket than the 4.6 at the moment. And the 4.6 block can handle more hp than a stock 5.0 block. That is performance wise though. It is all your opinion.

1987-1992 fox bodies have forged internals, 93-95 5.0 dont then they switched to the 4.6 in 96.
if you really want for about the same price you could find a 99-04 V-6 which is just a little bit slower and has alot more features. Add some 4.10s and some other small stuff you could hang with stock 5.0s, the only problem is how many stock 5.0s are out there?

then youre not looking hard enough. or youre trying to pick one up for under $2k, which wont happen unless its a piece, or the dude is tryin to just get rid of the car not worrying about making a good profit.

a fox is the way to go if you have atleast $5k. my dad currently owns an sn-95, he's like 45 right now. he's owned 2 foxes in the past and is not closed minded about either models. he said the foxes were much better built and have a much better ride to them, theyre way more comfortable and they dont lack in performance ability.

mechanically, the cars are nearly identical, the only real difference is styling

id go with an SN95, because you already have the proper spindles to go cobra brakes in the future, you have a huge variety of wheels, and it seens that SN95's are popping up more and more in the junkyards
