I have a Crimson Red 40th anniv GT coupe and when I was investigating the car I was told that all together there would be 7500 units built, some Mustang web sites claim 5700 units to be built until 3/01/2004 when production will cease. would also love to know the breakdown between V-6 and GT, coupe or convertible and which color (Crimson Red, black or white)sold the best or worst.

for now I am not really focusing on future value, It is just a kick having a Mustang that most other people don't have,or havenot even seen(like the people who will buy a 2005 edition)

I just read on http://www.fast-autos.net/news/41703.htmlthat only 5700 were produced. So I think we have something not many people will ever own.
