Default Mass air problem



Hey guys and gals,</P>


I just wanted to let you know that I had a terrible experience on e-bay from a company and I would appreciate you not purchasing from them and and going through what I did.</P>


The company's name is Thunderbolt motorsports. They have many posts for parts on e-bay for Mustangs, old &amp; latemodel. This company is the worst business I have ever dealt with. And if you badmouth them(which is deserving) with negative feedback, they will post negative feedback for you calling you an idiot for posting negative feedback for them. There ought to be rules against that! </P>


I won an item from them on Dec 30th. I immediately paid through Paypal and I received an e-mail from FedEx that there was a FedEx preshipment notice. A week went by and I decided to check the tracking number. Same notice, just a preshipment notice. I e-mailed them several times "what's going on?" after a day or two I'd get e-mails back saying that they receive so many e-mails I have to leave all this BS info for them to know it was the winner of the bid item. After I do that, I receive a reponse a day later saying "oh, I dont see any scanning activity on it. I'll check on it and get back to you." Keep in mind that all their responses come about 6-6:30 am. e-mail them, no response. Again, no response. So I call them - they can't help me because the number is the showroom and all inquiries about internet purchase MUST BE MADE THROUGH E-Mail. I tell the guy that if no one gets back to me, am I just supposed to wait until they feel like getting back to me. They tell me that they'll get back to me when they know something. So I finally recieve an e-mail, saying FedEx lost the package, nothing they can do but they are confident that they will find it and I will get it. Keep in mind, no scanning activity with the tracking number, just a preshipment notice. By the way, I work at a place that ships FedEx and UPS all the time. They scan the items they pick up and that is noted on the tracking #. So it looks to me that IT NEVER WENT OUT.</P>


I e-mail them again and tell them that I want my part and if FedEx lost the package, that is THEIR problem not mine. I tell them to mail out another part to me and keep with the agreement to ship what I paid for. No response. Several days later I get an e-mail telling me (FedEx) found the part and it's on the way. Keeping track of the tracking #, looks like they just picked it up that day and the usual stuff coming my way.</P>


I receive the part and much to my dismay, IT IS THE WRONG ONE!!! I am pissed off! 3 weeks later and I get the wrong Item I bid on and won. I e-mailed them and 2 days later I received a reply "sorry bout that, I'll arrange for a pick up and will issue a refund to you as soon as it is picked up." I am through with them, so I pack it up and FedEx picks it up 2 days later. I e-mail them that they picked it up and I want my refund. No response. I write an e-mail EVERY DAY to them asking for my money back and get no response back. I finally recieved my money back today after filing grievances against them with paypal and ebay. They responded to me once that whole time (after I recieved the wrong part).</P>


I have all the e-mails and responses should anyone want them. I did receive my money back but I had to deal with a months worth of hassle and BullS**t to get it. I have checked their feedback and they did this to people before.</P>


After I shipped out the item, I checked to see where else I can get it. Found a website CR Motorsports. E-mailed them on a monday night around 9:30 inquiring if they hadthe partin stock and if they would match a price for me. I recieved a response THAT NIGHT! AFTER BUSINESS HOURS that they had it in stock and gladly match the price. I called the next day spoke to JAYME. He remembered my e-mail and I ordered it told him I pay extra for 2 day shipping. He told me that wasn't necessary because standard ground from N.C. to PA. would be 2 days anyway. I recieved the part 48 hours later!!! Now, that is customer service! I wrote him and told him what a pleasure it was to deal with him and I will be buying all of my Stang parts from him that he can supply me with!</P>

I never do any internet deals through the piece of crap e-bay, I try to avoid that crap......... there are a lot of hungry sharks in the ocean...........<edited><editID>NO2JUNKIE</editID><editDate>38014.8394907407</editDate></edited>

no kidding. i'm super careful about what i buy, you never know. fortunately i havent had problems like this yet.
