Hey guys, I was looking into Wyotech and Universal Tech. Institute but I have some questions the two sites cant seem to answer. I was curious how much each school costs, how long are their programs, and whether UTI or wyotech offers an assosiates degree.
Any info will be helpfull, Thanks

Wyotech does offer a associates degree and its schooling lasts 9 months, they cost about 21-25k, my bro went there that is why I know. Also dont go to the wyotech school in wyoming if anything go to the one in Pennsylvania I think it is. The one in wyoming has nothing to do when school is not in session and has very minimal on good looking woman. But the school seems to be a ok school it is just the town of Laramie is so small and boring it is incredible, my bro had to go to walmart and throw **** at people for something to do it is so boring.

hey i just graduated from wyotech not to long ago, i went to the one in fremont. if you live in the bay area i wouldnt really go to the one in fremont cuz they dont teach you body, paint, fabrication only automotive even though you pay 21-27k for 4 hours, while the one in sacramento teaches about 8hrs and teaches you everything for the same price. also i hear the one in sac is a lil strict, as for fremont ive seen knuckles head messing around they cheat on their tests. the tests are quite easy, but the ase are freakin hard.
I live all the way on the east coast so i was looking into Blairsville, PA. Im not sure how the classes are but thanks for the heads up. I have a friend that goes to UTI but i havent talked to him in a while, he attends UTI at the PA campus. Last time i checked UTI didnt offer any form of a degree. Since im not going to College and considering paying for a trade school I might aswell get something more than the general automotive knowledge, something that can benefit me if i choose not to pursue my interests in the automotive industry. That is why the security of an assosiates degree is very important to me. Also from what i heard UTI seems to offer better corporate programs with many of the top manufacturing companys. I would love to hear from more members. Thank you for everyones feedback so far

hey guys..I just Registered for this fourm. Looks really cool.
Im actually enrolled in UTI i start August 7th. Im going to the campus in Avondale, AZ. Ive toured their campus and its HUGE ( it think something like 5 achres) Im going for Automotive, Diesel, and Ford FACT (which is the ford manufacture program) For all three classes its gunna cost $33,900. Its 84 weeks so ill finish in March of 08 (not even 2 years) The Avondale campus that i am attending is now and is the only campus that you get an associates degree. Hope this answears some questions.
also at the wyotech in my area we have the bmw step program you just need to have at least 90 or more percent grade average, also they select their students my friend just got seleted to get into the bmw step program. To enter the bmw step they have to give you two interviews and if they think your a good applicant they hire you on the spot. so they teach you all about bmw etc for a few hours...thengo to work at your dealer near you so ur basically getting paid already to go to school. i think the first year is about 30k a year the next year you will get 60k a year cool huh? lol well i just applied for porshe dealership in my area so hopefully they will hire me.
UTI also has the BMW step program. That an awsome program. The classroom for BMW is more like a board room meeting then a class. Leather chairs, big circle, wooden desk. Another cool thing about UTI is every two years you can go back and "refresh" for free. Learn all the new tech. thats come out over the two years, re-learn things, ect.
