Menance, Could not see the lights until they were on! No other markings. The people I passed at high speed were surely laughing their asses off. I would of been! The funny thing about the whole situation, was that my nephew is a local cop and he was going introduce use so we could do a little race. I did not talk about that until after he handed me back my licence. We didn't get into the details of what he had under the hood, but he does have me on the top end, which is 170 for him.. Superchargers can be a bad thing! Oh, you can't make it out real well, but what do you all think about this badge on the back???? It say supercharged under the 4.6 I thought it was tasteful and it also let you know why when I pulled away

'Police' pinstripe or not, I WOULD NOT pull over if I got flashed by this car and I bet I would beat the ticket. (I would of course pull over when he called for a marked back-up) There are currently 3 ongoing rape cases here in so cal were bogust police set-up cars are pulling women over and trying to say they'll go to jail if they don't ....xxx!!??***!! - ya know? It's all over the news. Our darn NEWS is telling us not to pull over just because a car has police lights unless it's a 'marked' car. Then again, I've NEVER seen a CHP car this bare anywhere in California.

I'd love to be the cop that gets to drive that car. You get to surprise the hell out of unsuspecting people, and drive a awesome car while doing it.[sm=owned.gif]

Yeah, SC has some crazy undercover cop cars. In Greenville my friends have been pulled over by everything from Focuses, to Green 150's, to Chevy Avalanches. It used to be that you could just look for the tell-tale lumps in the headliners of Vics and Impalas, but alas no more.

Well simple physics dictate that if said car is behind you or even in front of you before he hits the lights, one could not read the police stripes. And my guess is, if you aren't paying the utmost attention, you probably won't differentiate the police stripes from, say, Mustang stripes or the like.

We have the same **** going on here in Indy - the police were even on the news telling us what kind of cars to pull over for, and nothing else. However this car is marked with its department on the door. Best thing to do is to turn on your hazzards, drive to a well lit or populated area, and call 911 in the process to get backup involved right away just in case.

Dont go over 90 in WNC. My mustang is bought and paid for from representing people with speeding tickets around WNC. NC SHP is getting a few dodge Chargers, and they already have some dang fast bikes too. Also, WNC Highway patrol uses VASCAR about half the time, so radar detectors are useless. Be conservative through WNC, and dont get clocked over 90. Its really hard to keep your license.
VASCAR can be disbuted in court, for the reaction time of the officer performing the test, ?'s like how long officer been awake, If he's wearing glasses
when was the last time his eyes were examined, etc...
