Default Rattle noise from car when going over bumps.

I have about 1000 miles on my gt now and when I am driving over bumps which are not that big I hear some type or rattle noise from the car. I tried to move around the jack and the wheel in the trunk, and that did not change much. It sounds like it is coming from the suspension or wheels or something. Does anyone have that problem or should I take it in?

Thanks a lot

It is probabaly the exhaust mid pipe hitting the upper panahrd support. Take it in and see what they do.

I took mine in for the same thing. Sounds like mine is coming from the front end and sounds like a loose tie rod. Dealer couldn't find anything wrong, naturally. I have noticed that it is much less apparent if I soften up the tires a little. Dropped the pressure down to about 30 psi and it barely makes a noise. Pumped it up to 36 and it makes all kinds of noise.

Have them look to tighten the vertical sway bar link on the right side (front). I have what I think is the same problem you are describing, but haven't taken it in yet.

I got this information from this thread

If you look far enough down the thread, there's a nice diagram of the theorized problem.

I actually found out the problem. It is my exhaust. I just installed axleback flowmasters on my car. It is something that is making a rattle sound on the passenger side. I was under there briefly yesterday to see if anything is loose. I am going to tighten it up today after work. Is there any suggestions of what to do. It seems that it is either the bracket, the clamp or the downpipe. What is a good method of getting the passenger side to stop?

Thanks
