Default Changing Spark Plugs

This really sounds like a stupid question, but how do you change the spark plugs on an '05+ mustang? Is there a step-by-step website out there? Don't get me wrong, I know how to change a spark plug, I just remember on my last SN95 mustang you had to disconnect wires in the trunk and do tricky thing under the hood so you wouldn't ruin the computer. Any help would be appreciated.

Just remove the bolt holding the COP, remove the COP, then remove the plug. No tricks other than getting the spark plug out of the six inch deep hole they burried it in.

Just follow the 8 wires from your distributor to each plug and remove them!!! X-)

That's what I figured, but I wanted to make sure. Thanks!

Probably not a bad idea to disconnect the battery while doing the change too.

Don't think that would be necessary. I certainly hope they coils don't have voltage with the ignition off. If they do he might want to have that looked at before he worries about changing plugs.

I didn't say it was neccesary, but just a precaution. Maybe over cautious........................... But only takes a few seconds. It also resets "Spanish Oak" so it can re-learn what is going on in engine town with the new plugs.
