Default "Tuners"/chip question

I want to know what you guys think about adding a chip to a mustang and if its effects are that noticable. I know really nothing about tuners but I would like to know more. Do they increase horsepower and fuel economy? This guy I bought my mustang from already changed out the intake and exhaust and it added 30-50 more hp on my stang. Just reaching for some information here. Thanks

Default RE: "Tuners"/chip question

You don't change the chip from what I understand. You change the computers parameters using a custom tuner loaded with a handheld computer (also called a tuner). The previous owner has probably allready had that done, what brand of intake do you have?
