Benefits of X-Pipe???

Benefits of X-Pipe???
Was thinking of buying and installing a Bassani Short X Pipe but would like to know what benefits this will be/ I have heard it will give approx a 5-7HP increase. No big deal really. But how will it effect the sound of my Borla Stingers?

I have the X pipe on mine...Its hooked up to my shorties and factory axle backs.It changed the sound a good bit being that the x pipe deletes the cats!If your keeping the factory cats then the sound will be nominal.As far as HP gains?I never dynoed to know what I gained.But I do know that you will get the most out your x pipe if you go with L/T headers & no cats(Getting ready to pull the shorties & install the L/Ts).Hp gains have been claimed to be in the 5-10hp range depending on your exhaust set up.

Well I cannot go with LT or remove the cats considering i live in the Republic of California. And the Bassani Short X-Pipe ties in behind the stock cats and is 50 State Emissions legal which is why i would go with it.

if you don't touch the cats, don't expect much gain at all HP wise and sound wise. . . sound and hp are in the cats. . .
i have high flow cats. . . they pass emmisions, and give hp and sound, my recommendation
