F.A.S.T intake manifold for s197 stang
Has anyone heard news on a new intake manifold for our cars? I think comp is developing this manifold and from one small article i could find, it made 40 hp. I think it comes out next spring. If anyone has anymore news please post.

That's all the news there is. It's not out yet.
Personally I have a very hard time beliving it will make 40 HP. The original manifold is already very good....I mean, that's part of the reason why this engine is making 300 HP stock out of 4.6 L. But time will tell. Once it comes out we shall see some 3rd-party testing.

What happened???Well,lets just say that the 15HP gain is not true,lets just say its a pain to do unless your familiar with these throttle bodies & lets just say they throw codes left & right on your oakwood processor making your car go into limp mode!Yeah,the throttle bodies on the market right now suck!!!!!

Made from the same LS1's Intake manifold.
F.A.S.T. is making the only intake.
if the 40 hp gain is true, then people would pay prolly a grand for it just like cams.

Bro,I hope your kidding about paying 800.00 for that thing!I would think if your starving for HP then spend the 800.00 on NOS & get some real HP for the $$$$!JMO though.....

Oh...lol. if this thing is like the one for the LS1 than we are looking for around 10-12 hp, but in the end I hope it gets us 20 and if it does I'll probably pay the 800 for it. And IF (I seriously doubt it) it adds an extra 40 hp, I'll pay a g for it[8D]
