Default Detroit True Trac

I have heard people in different posts talking about the Detroit Ture Trac, where can you find them for sale, please send me links. I am building a master list of **** to do to my baby! thanks

Someone on the otherforum said they are notoriously noisey compared to the clutch tipe LS diff, which is allready plenty noisey with turning.

What?? I have one in my car, I've been running it for 10k and it's dead quiet. I don't see how it could be loud? There are very few moving parts and there is no slipping/sliding as there is in a clutch type LSD.

Are you sure these guys weren't talking about a Detroit Locker ? The locker is loud due to the dog clutches. The truetrac is not.

I’m with CrazyAl mine is dead quiet. I am very happy with mine as the traction seems much more even and controlled compared to the stock unit.

I don't remember the exact price. I think it was around $400. I bought it from Summit Racing if that helps.
