Safest/Best ways to get more GO for the SHOW
Own a 2007 mustang GT. Optionals include. hoodscoop, sidescoops, 22'inch rims.
Definitly have enough show, just need a little more GO.
How can i make my stock GT with an automatic tranny faster than a stock GT manual.
Was hoping by whatever means to get to 350rwhp. Is this possible and how?
Seeing how my stang is an automatic i automatically lose a lot of hp, almost 35-37hp which puts me stock at 257rwhp. Tips anyone?..
Not looking for heavy modifying. Just want to make it faster but still keep it simple and safe.
Due to lack of experienced "Tuners" where i am located (South America, Suriname, above brasil) i want to keep it simple just to be cautious.
Definitly have enough show, just need a little more GO.

RE: Safest/Best ways to get more GO for the SHOW
i havestill the standard 18" inch bullit wheels withthe pirrelli pzero tires.
i'm gonna use them on the track. but daily the 22" rims from zenneti.
i thought manual stangs come with 300hp stock? i've never checked a dyno sheet
i just read the folder :s
how much hp does a manual have?

all GTs have 300 hp @ the flywheel... @ the rear wheels the auto loses more than the manual due to additional friction. just add a s/c and you'll get 400+ RWHP.. added a Vortech H.O. S/C to my 5sp 06 and custom tune... 435@ wheels = 500+ @ flywheel (estimate)

whatttttt.... automatics are almost ALWAYS faster than manuals. The human simply cannot shift and clutch nearly as quickly as an auto tranny.
even if it is a slight bit heavier and some more gears, it still is quite quick
oh yeah and the previous posts are correct
302 hp at crank, 245-255 (around) to wheels
if you have 257 thats a good engine and efficient powertrain

Actually, automatics are slower than manuals... but only if the driver has skill
You can drop the clutch and heel-toe shift in the turns... but I guess you guys in the mustangs don't hit the turns too much.
