Default $ 90.00 Loudmouths anyone?

I have bought 2 sets of axlebacks not including the OE mufflers and still have not been satisfied. Not quite ready to spend $ 1500 on a set of headers and mid pipe yet so I keep trying to decide how the h$ll am I going to get her to sound good. This morning I went to Midas and had them make up stright pipe axle backs and weld on my 4" pypes crome tips. This is it, THE SOUND, Holy S#it. When you jump on it they rap out loud sounds like the Mustangs of the 60s. No cabin noise and not bad at all with the windows up. If you are going to buy Loudmouths and spend that kind of money think about what I did it kicks A$$.[sm=yeahsmile.gif]

Midas took 2.5" Galv exhaust tubing and made the bends necsesary to make the pipes fit from where you connect theaxlebacks and ran them out the back and welded on the crome tips. From the pictures i have seen of SLPs they look just like them except SLPs have 3.5 crome tips

I did some reading on them and they appear to be SLP knock offs basically. Kinda like the FRPP stingers and borlas are...but FRPP is better brand name than motoblue. If it was me I would just buy the SLPs but you seemed to make up you mind on the motoblues and I dont think there is that much difference.

All they are is stright pipes any company could make them with a jig to mass produce them, but to pay $300 plus is out of line. Midas did a good job for me. This is just temporary until I order my header set up.
