I have received new tunes for download to my SCT Excalibrator2 but I'm having trouble downloading them.

Apparently, the screen on the Excal must read "Main Menu" before you can begin the download process and change the tunes.

When I plug the Excal into my computer the screen reads "Slates X-Cal by Bxxxx" then automatically goes to "Program Vehicle". When I scroll down from there I get to the following screens in this order:

Vehicle Info; Data Capture; Dealer Info; LCD Contrast; Device Info.

I cannot find "Main Menu"

Can anyone help me find the "Main Menu" screen?

Doug is away at a Mustang meet and won't be back until Tuesday. I was hoping to install the new tunes today.

just plug it in and load....the front page would be the main menu.....

Not according to the picture I'm looking at showing an Excalibrator clearly showing a "Main Menu" screen.

howarmat is correct, did the same with my Xcal2 ... it works.

Maybe im confused. Is he trying to get the tunes from pc to sct?
or he has that already and trying to go from sct to pcm?

I followed the advice of Matt, MexGT and Ed. The tunes seem to have loaded fine from the PC to the SCT. Now I'll load one to the car and get back to you on my success.

Well if thats the case you dont even really use the sct screen or buttons. Sure you can watch the progress on the screen, but the progress is also shown on the pc software when its deleting/loading tunes onto the SCT.
