I purchased the Steedaaxleback and installed it last night. The sound is absolutely amazing I admit. Cruising around the local streets was a blast andreally turns heads.

Driving to work today however was a different story. 5th gear is an unruly sound. I'm pretty new to Mods and such, but I'm assuming the sound I'm hearing is what is called "Drone" It's a low tone that makes your brain scramble. In 5th gear between 60-70MPH seems to be the worst.

This is axleback only, and the rest of the car is currentlystock. Is this expected, and what is the best thing I can do to minimize the sound?

Thanks!

Chris - What rpm are you turning between 60 - 70 mph? You have cruise above the "drone range", which is usually around 1700 - 1900 rpms.

Yah that's the problem, I'm right at about 1900 RPM at 65-70MPH. I can drop to 4th and it's fine, but doesn't bode well for my fuel efficiency

Will installing the H Pipe help?
