Default blowoff valve

Now that I have ordered my Hellion turbo kit I was wondering about the sound the blow off valve makes. How loud is it? Is it sensible sounding around town? Some of the turbos I heard on you tube sounded more like a gun going off.

I don't know what the Hellion uses stock to vent the air but generally aftermarket blow off valves are adjustable so you can set how much the valve vents to the atmosphere versus recirculates. The more you vent to the atmosphere the louder it will sound.

hellions stock bypass valve is pretty quiet. i actually put a greddy RS in mine to make it louder. still not as loud as some i've heard, but definitely better.
