i don't know whether it got worse or not, the ehxaust is so loud that you hear it no matter what. Plus the actual box on the prochamber is right under your rear end. In the car it sounds a little tinny like it would be raspy but i let my step dad rip on it today while i was outside. It sounds incredible. I would say for the volume of the exhaust now the drone is slightly less but the exhaust is extremely loud so you hear it constantly.
