Highest Rpm you shift at?

For those of you looking for optimum shift points, use your dyno sheets like this:
and calculators like this: http://www.bgsoflex.com/shifter.html.
This helped me get my best times recently in spite of a screwed up shifter.

RE: Highest Rpm you shift at?
My Brenspeed tune (due today...) will reset my rev limiter at 6500 from 6250 since the 4.6L continues to pull beyond 6200. With the stock tune, I've hit the rev limiter a few times. I don't go to the track.

I never go over 6000 RPMs but it is set at 6700 RPMs. Did get a few extra HP out of her but never need to use them at this time.

Can the engine live long at 6700 shift's. or is the engine really ready to spit something out at those high rpm's?

My tuner says it should be fine at those RPMs and not to worry as the motor can handle it. He has his setup that way and made 25+ passes at the track and the motor is great......but I still never go over 6000 rpms as i dont have the money he has to replace things that will get wore out quicker if beat on IMO.
