Which would you rather have done first- tuner or 4.10's? My car is an 07 gt 5 speed. Still bone stock. Which one would make the biggest over all improvment on the street and some 1/4 mile action? Thanks guys.

I'd get the tuner/CAI combo first. You're going to pay the same or a little less for tuner/CAI (install yourself) as you would for gears/install. Plus, that way when you do get the gears, you'll already have the tuner you need to adjust your speedo to be accurate with the new gears.
Both are great options for first mods, but I would go with tuner/CAI first, which I did. I'll be adding 3.73s at t some point, but the tuner got rid of the throttle lag, added some HP and TQ, and stiffened up my shifts (mine's auto). Gears will get better acceleration off the line, but they're not going to cure the throttle lag, and if you're auto, they aren't going to stiffen up your shifts.

i don't have gears, but i can say that i can't imagine driving the car without a tune. i drove my buddies car (has 4.10's) and it has a tune that didn't adjust throttle response, and i gotta tell ya, that snap wasn't there. the car needs a tune.
think of a tune not as a new mod, but as a tsb fix to fix the factory ****.
