Nothinggood is cheap, relatively chep yes but still not cheap. A Baer GT Plus Kit which includes race quality drilled and slotted 14" 2-piece rotors, stainless steel brake lines,high-performance brake pads, the world class PBR 2-piston calipers withcorrectly sizedtotal piston areaset up for the S197GT's and all new mounting and sealing hardware can be found new for $1,000-$1,400 is this cheap to you?The similar Brembo14"Big Brake Kits with 1-piecedrilled rotors and 4-piston calipers run about $1,900-$2,200 and $500-$800 more for 2-piece Bremborotors. A similar but different Ford Spec'd Brembo 4-piston caliper, stainless steel lines, plain 14" 1-piece rotorsand high-performance brake pads from a GT500 can be puttogether in your own "kit" fromyour local Ford dealerfor about $1,200-$1,500 if you can get a car club discount. But this isNOT thesame caliper androtors used in the regular Brembo kits as sold by Brembo!

buddy, take it to ford. mine got heat spots and they resurfaced 'em for free. james told me he went to dot4 and stopped having these problems w/ the crap stock brakes. sidenote: my mother's g35 (non-brembo,but w/ DBS) brakes so much better.of course you have to flush the system to change fluids which is a bitch. i heard that dot4 isnt best for this system, rather the high temp synthetic dot3 is supposedly the best. someone else also reccommended akebono pads, i would definitely get some, those pads are the ****. number one on your list, take the car to sawgrass ford and have em resurface. my car had 19k miles when i had this done by themand u could see the spots in the rotors. i used to top it out around 150ish, and damn did they fade and warp. for the kinda driving im guessing u do, my suggestions are the way to go.
