Default keep burning plugs!!!!!!!

hey guys, im running a 100 shot on my gt and i keep burning the plugs... they are the autolite ht0 plugs which are one heat range colder... my air/fuel ratios are on the rich side, is that why i keep burning them?? all motor the ratio is about 13.2, on the spray 12.4, and 11's in 5th gear... is it too rich, is that why im burning my plugs??

thanks, tony

rich is not going to dissentigrate the end of the plugs.

http://dodgeram.org/tech/gas/spark_plugs/s_plug_faq.htm

there is lots of info out there that can help you read your spark plugs. If anything it's too lean.

Two pieces of advise...

1. Check the timing.

2. USUALLY when plugs are black, the engine is actually running too lean... NOT rich... Your motor is running rich if there are excessive carbon deposits... In this case, just get a can or two of brake cleaner and a brillo pad...
