a good step up from stock? hows the drone? are they decently loud from stock or too quiet?

It's been so long since I've had the stock exhaust on, but I can tell you they're quite a bit quieterthan SLPs. I guess if I had to guess, they're somewhere in the middle of stock and Loudmouths.

I've got a clip made, they are a nice step up in loudness from stock, replaced my GTA's. A step up from those also.
No drone I've noticed.

do you guys think that the Pypes Mid-Muffler system is a good for my first exhuast mod?

Exhaust Guru - I thought that you liked the Steeda axle-back exhaust.

I too am between the Steeda and Pypes mid-muffler setup. I will have to hear both in person to make my decision. My neighbor's daughter has the Steeda exhaust on her stang and it sounds great from what I've heard.

First-time, not the easiest to install. You'll need access to a lift or you'll have to jack the rear up & disconnect the shocks to remove the over-axle pipes. It is a bit more complicated than just swapping out the axle-backs.
Each sides is 4 pieces to replace 2, the alignment can be time consuming as well.

They are a bit lower than my old SLP's but they are breaking in now and seem to be getting louder too. Overall though, I would like it to be louder. I think they sound a lot better than the SLP's... the gurgle on deceleration is amazing.
I like them better than the steeda/borla stingers.
