So I only had time today to take a couple of short clips in my garage, hopefully this weekend I can get some flybys and takeoffs for everyone (if the Wisconsin weather stays decent). Keep in mind it sounds MUCH louder in person and a TON deeper as well. I think that the really deep sound is hard to capture on camera (like the boomtubes). How bad is the drone on them?

At 2000 RPM's it is noticable but not as bad a Borlas.

The MAC's are a good amount louder than stock, but you wont just stop at axle-backs.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, the clamps the MAC's come with are utter crap, go to Autozone and buy some C clamps for like $6.

+1 on the clamps, just weld them on like I did !!

I took this a little while ago and forgot to post it. Sound quality is decent, turn the speakers up and you kind of get the idea. And yes there is lots of drone, but the sound is totally worth it.

awsome , love the deep sound, i have my on the way i put the h-pipe on a few days ago, now i eagerly await the macs....... i mean i sit in the window and watch for the ups guy drooling and get mad each day he dont have them.

I got to say. I've tried both Mac mufflers and Mac boom tubes. I went back to the Mac mufflers. Much more aggressive sound to them.

The drone is noticable...when im in town cruising at about 25-30 in 3rd gear its pretty noticable. In my opinion the drone is definetly tolerable and the payoff of the sound makes them worth the $320. Not to mention they were easy to install and the fit is like they are from the factory. The 4 inch tips are the icing on the cake.

This is the sound clip of my MAC exhaust, while I was at it I posted a clip on youtube of one of my runs last Friday night at Firebird, my grandfather (84 yrs old !!!) recorded it, unfortunately he missed the ending but trust me I ran a 13.7 @ 103 , LOL
