tuning my stang for first time

RE: tuning my stang for first time
If you run into trouble when programming here's a basic overview off the top of my head.
Turn your key until your dash lights up but does not start the engine.
Take the xcal and plug it into the port to the bottom left of the steering wheel.
It will start up blue and say brenspeed.com
go to I htink the first option-(tune/program) or load tune... I can't remember the exact phrase
Click on the tune you want. Three will be there.
Click on it. It will ask you if you want to modify it. Click cancel. Then cancel again, and it will begin loading your stock tune to the programmer to keep it if you decide to flash it back to stock.
It will then begin clearing the old ecm, and load the new tune.
It will say finnished, unplug it. Shut off the ignition, and start her up.
Get ready to crap in your pants... Once you hit 2200 rpm on my 93 tune it pulls like a mother trucker[8D]
And don't forget being able to leave 20 feet of rubber when shifting hard into second... I have photo evidence
There is really no downside to tuning your car... Cant hurt it!
