Don think you need 650+ to beat a Z06, but here is what I would do if I had deep pockets:

Kenne Bell SC: 2.6L kit with intercooler (8PSI)
Kenne Bell fuel Pump, Siemens Deka 60 lb. Injectors
FORD RACING CNC PORTED 3V HIGH-FLOW Cylinder Heads
FORD RACING 3-valve Heat Range ZERO Spark Plugs
Ford Racing radiator
Custom Dyno Tune
Spydershaft driveshaft
Spec Stage 2 Clutch and Aluminum flywheel
Ford Racing - 4.10 FRPP gears
Eaton Posi Differential
Ford Racing -rear sway bar
BMR - Upper Control Arm
BMR - Lower Control Arms
Long tube headers - Bassani or Borla or Kooks w/ matching X-pipe
Baer EradiSpeed-Plus Front/Rear Rotors
M/T drag radials, wider the better, ondrag wheels

IMO remember he said streetable car !! lol

Thats a good start !! lol If you got an auto then you want to get a TCI torque converter

Instead of SC you could do a HellionTurbo kit, local shop guy has this kit on his 05 and it's insane !!!!

If you do that you don't need LT headers as that section is re-plumbed for the turbo.

Hope this helps !

Hey there...i'm pretty green too....I have a few minor mods, and looking back....I would probably have done gears first...just cause I would like to see how crazy they were by themselves....I still havent' done exhaust...and won't even go back to the track until I get better lower control arms...I had my mods done all together when I had roughly 700miles...havent dynoed yet....but got a 13.8 @103.9 first and only time at track....wheel hop...maybe you should do LCA's first.....As a rookie I know realize the importance of suspension...good luck with your addiction......chick or car, chick or car, chick or car...mmmmm..CAR!

You want more than 650 hp or rwhp? Either way you'll have do a lot to easily beat a Z06 with Stang. Even if you had the same horsepower, our Stangs are about 1000 lbs heavier than the Z06 and not quite as aerodynamic. Just out of curiosity, why didn't you just get a Cobra or a Saleen Extreme or something? You could've modded those just a bit more and gotten about 650 hp. I would get the 540 hp Saleen s/c kit from Brenspeed, good set of mufflers (too many out there to list, but I like Magnaflows), catback x-pipe, a good set of headers and you'll be getting quite close to 600 hp if not 650 hp. Then if you even want to do more, I suppose you get a new set of ported and polished heads, forged pistons, and a new cam. After that, there's not a whole lot more you can do. I think Magnaflow makes x-pipes and headers made for the Stangs, they might even have them in a kit. As for the heads, pistons, and cam; I think that Ford Racing makes some, but I am sure there are others out there, you'll just have to do some research. These are my recommendations, I'm sure you'll get a whole lot more lists of stuff to get. Good luck! And remember to post pics ofyour finalized project!

Oh yeah, you could also put some 4:10 gears in the back Ford Racing makes them, get a posi-track differential from Eaton, a new torque converter if you have an auto tranny, and a deeper transmission pan too.

You'll also want some suspension parts to handle all of that power too but that's a whole different story, lets worry about getting you that power first! If you end up getting that much power you might want to get atougher clutch (if you have a manual) and flywheel too.

I keep thinking of new things! You could also get a lighter driveshaft too.
