Maybe Ineed to get a race tune, I'm running a 91 octane tune(93 octane fuelis not available around here). I didn't specify for race or otherwise.
I am just running the stock KDWS tires.
Do you still burn rubber going into third?

Also are you happy with the 4.10 or would you go with the 3.73 next time?
If I launch hard it will burn the tires without using the clutch, and if I shift while the tires are still spinning it will get a little out of control.
I do have to provoke it however.

Ahhh. Might want to go for a dyno tune then in the spring to insure you are 'being all you can be'.

Oh yes. The road surface and temperature determine whether they eventually hook or not.

I love my 4.10s. When I get the right shoes and suspension under her I think we'll be looking at the 'flatten your eyeballs' type acceleration out of the hole. Right now, it's still really nice to have that torque mulitplication going for me in 3rd and 4th gear.

A lot of guys running 4.10s with FI here. Many with 3.73s. Some with 3.55s. It's one of the more chewed over religious arguments about what is 'best'. I'll always say 'it depends'. Brent is running 4.10s on his setup and will be in the 10's next year on a bascially stock bottom end, automatic driveline, gears, and DRs. Good enough for me. If you are a serious 1/4 miler you'll want to change ratios as one of the variables in the formula to get best ET.

Mine doesn't take much provocation. If I wanted to burn through 4 gears it is pretty easy to do.

You know what you need to do. The first step is to recognize you have a problem... All you need now is a ski mask.....

Remember, we're pulling for you.

congrats Briscoe....nice numbers. Very encouraging..and as others have stated, a 3.4 pulley is 10lbs boost. my 3.6 pulley I have on now is getting me 8lbs boost. I have a 3.4 pulley as well but am waiting to upgrade my tranny (New TC) and fuel pump....good luck to you and have fun with your new found power.....KEEP SAFE!!!
