Default HP Numbers with CAI & Tune

Currently I am running a C&L CAI and a tune written by Lidio at Alternative Auto (Michigan). The last time I had my car dyno'd (Dyno Jet) I onlydid 283rwhp and 299rwtq. The car baselined at 261rwhp and 280rwtq. It seemed a little low to me. I think some of you have been getting around 290rwhp. Do you think I could get more with an e-mail tune from say Brenspeed or VMP?
Thanks

I don't think so. I think your numbers are great with just a CAI/Tune. Remember, people live in different places than you so the weather will impact performance.

22 HP gain with a CAI and tune is about right.

Stick with your custom tune from Lidio.

+1 I made 288hp and 306lb/ft when I just had an intake. Anything from 280-290 is good. Weather alone or a number of factors could have given you lower numbers than some people. I'm sure you could go back another day and do another pull and get 5hp. Save your money and stick with your tune.

If you are not happy with the numbers, then get headers.
