suspension wise, look into getting a package that has Tokico D-Spec shocks in it. check stangsuspension.com, or one of the sponsors. You need a package. For just a basic drop, you need to get a ****load of parts to properly drop and align.

-springs
-adjustable panhard bar
-shocks (might as well change them while you're under it)
-steeda heavy duty strut plates (stock ones "pop" over bumps and cannot help with alignment)

i'm probably missing some thigns but thats basically for jsut dropping. i've spent almost $2k on suspension parts, all just to properly lower the car and have it ride and handle great. Still pending install and shipment of some parts, lol.
You are missing the adjustable trailing Arms, either upper or lower. When you lower a car (assuming you are adding lowering springs) your pinion angle will be off and in need of adjustment.

I am thinking about doing the following mods:
gears are 331...thinking of 373 or 410?
Ford Racing handling upgrade kit-not sure if strut tower bace will fit with shaker cover though?
Ford Racing Cold air kit with Tuner
Roush Underdrive Pulley's
It seems that you are concerned with and want increased performance, therefore IMO don't worry about the slight drop in MPGs...go with the 4.10s. The combination of CAI, Custom Tune and 4.10s are by far the best bang for the buck performance upgrades for a NA car. At 70MPH my tack is sitting about 2100-2200 RPM.

+1 on the throttle body..... you don't really need one on a f/i car... i'm running the stock one and it works just fine.... gears i have 373s and love them.......

Did the dealer not have the chin spoiler and hood pins installed yet? Just want to make sure you aren't paying for something they didn't give you...

With everything else your doing you worry about the warrenty with a CAI and tune? Spend the dough get a good tune and CAI from any of the top names and you'll wake the car up. The ford tuner is not even close with what else the good tuners can do.
LCA's
UCA
panhard bar
and I'm not doing this but most swear by 4.10's

The chin spoiler and hood pins are coming in next week. Yes the ford racing intake and tuner are warranty along with the suspension pack from Ford Racing.

I have been looking at the CAI intakes and tuners out there.

I was wondering if the roush intake and hypertech, roush pulleys, 373 gears and X pipe would be better performance?

How does the Roush CAI stack up against the CAI or JLT?

What is the best programmer out there?
