i dont believe you necessarily need a new tune, but after forking out 1200+, i would update the tune to get the most out of your purchase

After I Installed me long tubes and o/r x-pipe I didnt tune my car right away and it ran fine. I really didnt feel any diffrence until after the tune.

The seems like it helps after putting long tubes. It isnt needed (as in your car wont break or anything...), but I would still update your tune... SCT THR Race tune? you notice a good difference after you first tuned your car? I use SCT also just with a B am a tune.

I have the same kooks headers, kooks o/r xpipe that brenspeed has on their website. They said LT's do NOT need a tune to run correctly unless you need the o2 sensors shutoff. They don't change tunes for LT's so I say no. I also called JDM who verified they don't change tunes for LT's.

Thanks everyone for your help, I spent the day over at Texas Hot Rods and I discovered that the retune after the LT Headers is not required unless the new exhaust isn't catted. However, you will see some gains by getting a retune. BLUF: I'm getting a retune after install, i mean why not after all I spent on the exhaust.
Thabks Again!

The car wont break or anything? sounds intelligent...Anyways to answer the OP's question, a tune is not required but is recommended. It will be running slightly more lean (not anything dangerous, but more lean than before).
