I'm about to order one from Summitt, I think it's about $450 there. It used to be $400 about a year or so ago. If you see it cheaper, let me know but I like the fast shipping and service from Summitt.

Looks like both places charge shipping. The first link is a place I'm not familiar with.

[align=left]I bought from D'Agostino Racing in August. Very fast and friendly service. I'm in the midwest and shipping was reasonable. True Trac was 429.99, Bearing kit was 80.00, UPS Ground was 39.95. At the same time I ordered FRPP 3.73s from Sutton Ford. Ordered on a Tuesday, received them on Friday 190.85 including shipping. Found a local ford Tech who runs his own garage on the side to do the install for 175.00. Street tires will not hold it now in three gears. The car launches straight and hard with M&H DRs.

I need to get one of those. Is there any reason a shop would have to pull the pinion gear or is it just as simple as removing the axles and reshimming the new diff?

I'm getting a new gearset while I'm at it. Once that ring gear comes out, you'll NEVER get it back in the same way again and they WILL make noise.

Oh, and you won't ned to add friction modifier afterwards since the Tru Trac is all gears inside.

Just so you know if you are under 600hp or so get the true-trac if you are over that get the locker. The locker is very very very aggresive, a tad to aggresive for my likes.
