Just ordered a chrome catchcan from Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OIL-C...spagenameZWDVW

I plan on converting most of my lines to braided over the winter anyway, so I'll try to do this one too. This thread will give you most of the lines needed to do this. https://mustangforums.com/m_3223412/tm.htm (Look at post #7).

I have no problem drilling hols in my engine compartment to mount something that will likely be permanent so if i go that route I'll try to take some pics for you all.

[*]Model: OilSep[*]Manufactured by: LFP [/ul]
Details Under boost or just cruizing around town, your vacuum line on the passenger side valve cover is siphening oil which ultimately collects in plenum, intercooler, throttle body...etc. Install an LFP oil separator and catch it before it heads that direction. Installs in 30 min. Unbeknown to a few of our competitors, the LFP Custom Oil Seperator is responsible for eliminating oil from being moved into the plenum from the "overlooked" passenger side valve cover. Don't be mislead or fooled by some of our competitors that say the driver side is the end all and do all, it is not. These same competitors (If you can believe) know very little about these vehicles or they wouldn't make such misleading claims. Need we say more?

Details
- Operational in all weather conditions
- "See Through" Oil Catch providing assurance for workability when hood is popped
- Routine drain monitoring to prevent oil spillage available at your fingertips
- Direct replacement will not void warranty
- High Grade Brass Fittings for durability
- High Pressure Aftermarket Vaccum Lines
- Pre-Installed Draincock for emptying reservior.
- Assembled in house using quality aftermarket poly-carbonate catch reserviors.

I have no experience with that one, but these suck! Don't waste your money.

I would dump it I think, probably nothing wrong with it but I would hope it wouldnt accumulate that fast or that much that I would worry that the level is low.
Its all about choice. I never dump it I just put the excess oil back to the engine. Remember the engine takes 6.2 or so quarts to fill up so you must have a half used bottle of oil around your garage.

Just buy that one it is more expensive than the ebay crap but you are getting a very good one from one of the best manufacturers out there.
