finally got one

Hey fellas, I got this throttle body from a friend of mine today. He say's he got it in one of those high perfomance kits for his 07 GT. I got an 08 GT so I think it should work. The thing is he said it was a BBK, but there are no markings on it, and it doesnt look like the one's in any pictures on the net. So let me ask you all, have you seen this before? Don't waste your time installing a throttle body it will not give you any thing extra in fact you might lose some HPif you don't have your car tuned on a dyno.

I see your from Va. Beach contact Brent at http://dtpracing.com/ask him how he feels about the throttle body for the S197. He is a great tuner in the Chesapeake areaI drive from Richmond to have him tune my car.

That's not a BBK Throttle Body. I had one for a short time and it caused me nothing but problems. Stick with OEM Ford. Here's a pic of the BBK gears:

Not BBK, and I wouldn't even bother with it if it was. You're going to have way more problems then you expect

Ive had no problems with my bbk TB but I guess I knew what I was doing when I installed it :P

^^ lol yeah i never had problems with mine either. I love it! cleans up nice under the hood.
