hey hawgman, how extensive is that diablo tuner??? can you adjust your air-fuel ratio, tire size, timing, etc...? if so, then i am gonna toss the SCT and order the diablo
Yup, you can adjust spark globally, spark from 2k to 4k rpm range, spark from 4k to 6k rpm range, air/fuel ratio curve, gearing, tire size, low fan cut on and cut off temp, high fan cut on and cut off speed, speed limiter removal, rpm limiter limit, WOT fuel ratio, and probably more stuff that I just haven't played with yet.

hawgman it's safe say that this programmer is probably best on the market? How user friendly is it?

I got the feeling that these programmers are like computer mice. Whatever you use is what you like, and whatever someone else uses is probably inferrior. It is strictly user preference. The STC unit is no slouch by any means. I just prefer to be able to adjust my tune on the fly while I have the unit plugged in to the car, not to have to depend on someone else to write the tune and me download it, or have to adjust it on a PC then upload it to the tuner then go to the car. I think the XCal2 is going to probably be more like the Diablo, but I do not know anyone that has played with one yet.

My first mod was a pine tree air freshener to get that nasty new car smell
outta there [sm=badidea.gif]

Really though, I would go with the predator and a DB9 to DB9 cable and power source to get your updates from DSP. [sm=gears.gif]
