Default CAI Is it worth it?

Hey guys what's up? I just switched out my American Thunder exhaust for the Pypes axle delete kit and it sounds amazing. So that made me start to think about what to do next. I am interested in getting a CAI but I am not sure where to start. What brands are best? Do I need a tune? Will it make a difference in sound? How much will it cost me? Any info would help thanks.

Cai and tuneis the most "worth it" part there is for power gains if your staying N/A. Try Brenspeed.com, look at the intake and tuner packages. I have and like my C+L, but JLT is very good as well.

heck yeah it's worth it!~
I didn't think so at first but a few weeks afterwards I really did notice and appreciate the difference it made in both overall acceleraton and mid-top end.

It's kinda a jip at first because of the price (CAI/tuner combo) but after you get more mods, being able to load new tunes with the SCT or Diablo is really convenient.

+4 - its way worth it unless you plan to go forced induction in the near future. The thing I liked best was the improvement in throttle response.

The difference stock vs CAI+tune on mine elicited a "holy @#$!!!" the first time I hit the gas after the mod. Definitely worth it. Im running a JLT2 intake, and a BamaChips tune. I started out with a Brenspeed tune, but like the BamaChips way more. Thats not to say the Brenspeed tune is bad, but for my tastes I feel the BamaChips tune is better.

Absolutely worth it! My BBK intake and Brenspeed tune are making great power for me.

If your running a 5 speed, you should think about a short throw shifter as well.

Steeda, JLT, C&L... those are really good. 5 speed, get a brenspeed tune. auto, get a bamachips tune... you will need a tune. but I wouldnt suggest at all just sticking with a basic tune from SCT... I would go brenspeed or bama, thats when you feel the car smack you in the face...
