O look it's my buddy.
I had the K & N rep in my office 3 days ago. You don't need a reflash with the K & N kit IF you use the vapor trap. They have to keep that in to keep it legal. blah blah. So don't bother buying it unless you want to take out the vapor trap and then reflash, other wise your wasting your moolah.

The whole idea behind a cai is to flow more air which increases h.p. if you are not flowing much more air the h.p. increase is very small if anything. The 05 GT computor is senitive so any increase in air flow to make a diference in h.p. causes an engine light and the car runs bad, if k&n say's you don't need a re-flash and leave the hc trap in you are not geeting enough air increase to make a difference. Also the recently built 05 gt's are coming thru without the hc trap. This is just my common sense opioin.
