It's only worth it if you buy two and stack them, as well as a tornado in the intake. That's good for like 30 hp. Don't forget to pick up some muffler bearings so your install goes smoothly.

The HP it adds is negated by the added weight of the TB spacer.
So it kinda evens out. Unless you equate in the $100 cost.
Be sure and use some snake oil on the hardware to keep it from galling.

I thought the Zaptec (spelling?) TB was an actual improvement?

In regards to the Spacer...its about as useful as a poopy flavored lollipop. Dont waste the money.

Wink Throttle Body spacers.

Always an interesting topic. I've been working on cars for a decade. Spacers primarily work best on the old V8s with carbs. Fuel injection is a different animal. I have dyno numerous bolt on wonders. There claims of 15hp are done with the hood up, on a freezing morning, and on a highly modified engine. Those kind of high horsepower # are just a sales pitch and nothing more.
If your car is close to stock I DO NOT RECOMMEND (I am not yelling but trying to make a point) A LARGER THROTTLE BODY, UNDERDRIVE PULLEYS, THROTTLE BODY SPACERS, OR EVEN MODIFIED INTAKE GASKETS THAT AID FUEL ATOMIZATION. REMEMBER FIRST THEY MAIN GOAL IS TO GET A SALE. Axel back will primarily just change the sound of the car not the power. Claims of 14hp were on shelby gt500s! You will get more horsepower from just icing you intake at the drag track.

The most horsepower seen with at least a 1 inch throttle body spacer was 2.3hp in the midrange on a GM LS2 motor.

if your car has forced induction or nitrous oxide it then will need higher flowing mufflers and air induction.
In real world daily driving with the hood closed any air intake will only gain 12 maximum unless it is a ram-air setup.

I hope this helps you guys out. I am not a sales man/politician just a poor honest mechanic.

ThrottleBodyInjection, spacers work.
MultPortFuelInjection (S197), they dont work.
