Yes 07MuscleMustang you still need some kind of radiator support. If your rich you can just buy the swaybar delete from BMR Manufacturing for around $180. Or if your not rich but your crafty you can make your own. Lets face it, we need to take as much weight off the front end as possible (the S197 is ridiculously heavy). It all depends on how serious you are about going faster! Fck it right? Just go all out and delete your A/C to reduce weight and parasitic drag too. While your in there drain your windshield washer fluid, bypass the power steering, and get an electric water pump too.

Well your comparing a f-body to a s197, the s197 is alot more solid than a f-body. Ive taken the car out to test how it would react to something like that and it wasnt anything to worry about. So i dunno maybe some poeple feel different about it

so this may sound dumb but why cant you just pull off the sway bar? whats it connected to that forces you to get the delete kit? is it connected somehow to the rad support?

you can take your sway bar off by itself if you want. You dont have to buy the kit if you dont want. The radiator support is built to handle the sway bar(sway bar mounts to radiator support). Since you removed the sway bar they give you the tubular support to replace the bulky oem support to save weight. Its all up to you on how you want to do it

ok so how much does the sway bar weigh? if we are talking a 5lb deal umm i dont think so. but if we are talking the 30lbs umm yeah id think it would be all good. i can drive the **** out of anything and accident avoidence um i teach it. If i can drive a 5k lb ambulance like its on rails i can handle my stang

the sway bar is between 5-10lbs, major parts of the sway bar removal is for better weight transfer to the rear to help with launching. The weight reduction only really comes when you buy the kit, because of the tubular support. So without the kit you will have better launching(weight transfer) and save 5-10lbs. With the kit you will save 25-30lbs. and for 170 from brenspeed isnt bad at all.

for americans yes 170 isnt bad but in canada 170 plus maybe 30 bucks for shipping another 50 for brokerage and then th dollar now being at 81 cents making it close to 300 in canada... so close but every mod here i need to look at extra close...

Wouldn't you have to take the car out of the garage to worry about handling?
