To Upgrade or not to Upgrade?
I bought an 08 GT/CS a week ago, and as we all know the only thing better than a fast car is a faster car, will putting aftermarket parts on my car void the warranty? Also what companies are the best brands? And finally I've been told by a few people at car meets that the California Special shouldn't be touched because it will be a collectible some day. so obviously I'm on edge about upgrading. Any feed back is appreciated thanks.

Yes, mod it. The dealer will have to prove that the aftermarket part caused the problem in order to not perform warranty work. To many people waste time and fun on worrying iver that crap IMO.
A collectors item? Then I suggest you put that car in the garage and don't even drive it.

Where I live, I see 1 GT/CS for every 2-3 GTs. Mod that beast. I don't foresee the GT/CS to be that collectible. As far as collectible cars go, there's rare and then there's desirable. I'm not saying the GT/CS isn't desirable. I'm just saying its not gonna pull crowds like a GT500 or GT500KR.

you could always just put a cai and tunes. then if something does go wrong you can always put everything back to stock and take it to the dealer. if not not wanting to go all out at least wake your new baby up a little. you will be shocked how conserative ford did the tune for our cars when you get the cai and have it tuned by one of the guys mentioned on here. brentspeed bama vmp st motorsports and others. start modding. nice car. havent seen to many black gt/cs.
