it's in and the next step is remounting the
transmission. i'll probably do that tomorrow
morning.

the test drive won't be for another week or
so, i have a few other goodies to mount
up, between now and then.....

adjustable UCA
one piece DS
STS


your right, it's a very satisfying project and now
that i've done it, it doesn't scare me nearly as
much anymore.....

no turbo.....it's a short throw shifter.....

Don't try and lower the gas tank for the UCA install. It's not worth the trouble and I almost stripped one of the bolts for the tank straps. Just unbolt the stock uca from the axle, then remove all the mounting bolts for the uca mount. That gives you plenty of room to get the stock uca out and the new one in. Torquing the mounting bolt for the new UCA is harder with the mount still stuck under the tank, but it's easier than trying to drop that stupid gas tank, IMO of course.

LOL! I have been part of that crew for a while now, it SUCKS! Can wait to here how you like the clutch, congrats again on doing the install yourself, if I had done mine maybe I would be in the crew, oh well tax returns are too far off, and the wife finally starts work again Monday!

opened UCA folder.....gotta keep things
organized...

one, yeah hopefully after a couple of paychecks
we can turn in our badges once again....

sactown, glad the wife is back on the job, that should
mean more presents under the tree
